- Social Mobilization Component led by a Coordinator, Social Mobilization Unit, based at HQ and support all the projects and field activities.
- Education Component, all School levels and educational led by a Coordinator, Education Unit, based at HQ and support all the projects and field activities.
- Food Security Component led by a Project Coordinator, based at HQ and support all the projects and field activities
- Human Resources and communication department led by a department manager based at HQ and support all the projects and field activities.
- Finance and Administration (F&A) based at HQ led by a Finance Manager, deals with all personnel records, administrative concerns and finance of the SERDO NGO;

The decisions regarding Programme are generally taken through participatory approach and by consensus. SERDO uses computerized finance formats for its accounts, budgets, monitoring sheets, which indicate any variations in the budget and balance sheets.
SERDO prepares consolidated monthly account sheets for each activity regularly. It intends to continue this process and share it with the donors regularly. It also intends to reflect its balance sheets in all quarterly reports, which will be shared with donors/partners along with the audited reports.
SERDO maintains bank accounts in the name of the SERDO NGO organization for different donors with Amal and Dahabshiil Bank, which is being operated jointly by the Chief Executive Officer, program manager and Finance and Administration officer. SERDO gets its accounts audited every project by an Audit firm in support of partner agencies.The SERDO Finance section has Manager, Finance at Head Office in Lascanod and Garowe City. The structure determines the chain of command and hierarchy of responsibility within SERDO, The Executive Director is the head of an executive committee that is responsible for the implementation of the programs and daily management activities.
